I thought I'd share this photo with you as it has a little bit of a pink ribbon in it, and October is breastcancer awareness month! I made the rose as a small birthday gift to send with a chair I made for a friend in Germany.

    @Margaret, I didn't use a kit, but the rose leaves are from a laser cut sheet by Mary Kinloch. These are very nice and delicate and easy to colour with watercolours. The rose petals I think came from Jan van den Doel, I've had them in my stash so I'm not sure. I used watercolours to colour these as well.

    @Adrie: Nee, ik heb het stofje geprint. Het is eigenlijk een behangetje waar geen stof bij is. Het is niet die van Brodnax. Het was een heel gedoe om de kleuren goed te krijgen, want op je scherm ziet het er toch anders uit dan wanneer je het op stof print. Het is hetzelfde patroontje dat ik gebruikt heb voor de bedgordijnen in de slaapkamer van mijn poppenhuis, maar nu op katoen geprint en wasbaar.
    Ga je ook naar Arnhem dit weekend? Ik ben er vanavond en morgen :)
