Grand tour of Singel 224
Hello everyone!
It has been a while since I posted here, but I have not been idle in the interim.
After
18 years, my canal house Singel 224 is now nearly finished and you are
all invited on a guided tour! In a series of 10 videos I am showing the
house in detail, one or two rooms per episode,
and I talk about the build and history of my canal house.
and I talk about the build and history of my canal house.
Episode one, two and three have been published and I am aiming at uploading a new episode
every two weeks. I hope you will enjoy watching my YouTube series!

Hallo Josje.
Oh Josje - I have just spent the most fabulous 45min completely engaged in your house tour. What an amazing way to document and share your fabulous collection of fine and varied miniatures.
ReplyDeleteTank you so much for taking the time to put such wonderful tours together for us to enjoy. I am quite certain, I will be back for another look.
Anna
You're welcome Anna! Thank you so much for the lovely compliments, I am happy to hear you enjoyed the tour so far.
DeleteHi Josje,
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful idea! I look forward to setting aside some time to watch it all, your house has been a source of constant inspiration! It is also reassuring to know that it has taken you 18 years to reach the finish line, though I am not sure that our creations are ever completely finished.
Jonquil
Hi Jonquil, Yes, 18 years! The last spaces have been half finished for many years as I was busy with many other projects. I debated making changes to the house as my skills have improved so much over the years, but I decided to keep it as it is, as a testiment to my journey so to speak. I hope you'll enjoy the videos!
DeleteHi Josje! I am so amazed by your videos! I have only watched the first two... ran out of time on my lunch break! The quality of you building and everything in your collection is so inspiring! And to see the history of the Canal House as you describe it, makes it all so vivid and real! As always, I love your work and can't wait to see more of this house in your impeccable videos!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing this wonderful house and could spend hours just enjoying your creations. What a fantastic idea to display it on video. I'll be going back to look at it again. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Drora
Thank you so much! You're welcome any time Drora!
