JOIN the REVOLUTION!

A couple of days ago I got so sick and tired of the captcha (word verification) which blogger installed on all of our blogs recently, that I decided to remove it from my blog.  I have opted for comment moderation after two days.
I was not the only one.  Here is what my guest blogger John from Merriman Park wrote.  Will you join us?

Humans, are you sick and tired of scratching your head when asked to prove you are not a robot and being forced to type the sometimes indecipherable, nonsense-words in your favorite blog's comments section?  Do you vainly squint your eyes into narrow slits in your insane attempt to decode bloggers jacked-up verification process? Have you given up utterly and perhaps completely stopped commenting altogether?

BLOGGERS of the WORLD: UNITE!  JOIN the GROWING REVOLUTION of VERIFICATION-FREE COMMENTARY!

It's easy.  It's simple.  Here's how to do it:

1.  If you're on the New Blogger Interface, switch back to the Old Blogger Interface.

2.  Click on Settings.

3.  Click on Comments.

4.  Scroll down the page to Show word verification for comments?  Check 'NO.'

5.  Scroll to bottom of page and click Save Settings.

6.  Spread the word and rejoice!

That's all.

  5. Thanks! I'm sick and tired of it. I keep commenting but it's a lot of work because If I'm not signed in, I have to do that stupid word verification twice. So, this should help!

  15. I did it a long time ago, and can not agree more that every one should join in. It is terribly annoying to have to try and figure out some of those 'scribbles'. BUT you do need comment moderation because the amount of spam comments seem to increase by the day! Now really, who would want to buy Laboutin shoes (and a variety of other stuff) over the internet? Really!

  16. I already did. I will see what happens with spam..I hate when they do that I can hardly read the words

  17. Someone told me how to do it a while ago and I did it straight away - it felt soooo good! I do have comment moderation though, so I see all comments and approve them as always.

  21. I was on board last year!!
Can we also talk about the music players that auto-load.

To be honest - even if I'm drawn to the blog by pics, as soon as the sound starts, I close the window - and dont' look further...

I can live with the ones that just make a suggestion but the autoplay

    AhhhHHH!

  22. I am so glad so many of you have joined in! It is such a relief not to have to try and decipher the scribbles. And so far, no spam for me either.

Obscure creations, I must agree with you. Sometimes the music which comes on autimatically really startles me. I now keep my sound off unless I want to listen to something.
